She sat there patiently, blissfully happy as her makeup artist, added the last touches to her blush. Today was the day that she had been looking forward to for so long. The day that she would finally marry the man of her dreams, her very best friend. She looked gorgeous draped in a red and gold lengha with ornate traditional jewelery. Looking at her you would never be able to tell that she danced her heart out at her garba the night before. She looked radiant and full of energy. Meanwhile, a team of people buzzed downstairs. Hard at work, assembling the perfect day of an Interfaith Wedding as well as a stunning reception.
Aneesha and Dan were lucky enough to have two ceremonies; a traditional Hindu Wedding and a traditional Jewish wedding; meshing two beautiful cultures into one amazing and beautiful day. Dan could hardly take his eyes off his soon to be bride as they met during their first look, prior to the ceremonies and his eyes were transfixed on her as she walked down both aisles; in a Red Lengha and a gorgeous white dress. Aneesha and Dan were surrounded by friends and family as they made seven rounds around the sacred fire and exchanged rings and smiles and then again as they exchanged vows and Dan broke the traditional wedding glass. Everyone in the room felt their love in the truest form from screaming “mazel tov'” to “trivastu.”
Their reception ballroom was beautifully decorated with heartfelt speeches, choreographed dances and scrumptious dinner followed. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Aneesha and Dan promised eternity to each other. Their dedication to each other was beautiful…and made even more so by copious amounts of wine and the promise of a good time surrounded by those they love.
Aneesha and Dan, it was an honor filming and photographing your Interfaith Wedding.
