It was one of those engagement sessions that got pushed and pushed and pushed. With the Blizzards in March, random days of 80 degree weather mixed in with tercentennial downpours figuring out the best day to do a Cherry Blossom engagement session seemed to require a degree in meteorology. After a few missed dates, resubmissions of permits and constant drivebys we finally found the perfect day to photograph Amanda and John for their Washington DC Cherry Blossom Engagement Session.
We met up with Amanda and John at the Jefferson Memorial and were able to capture beautiful images of them near the waterfront, around the monument and in front of the stunning cherry blossoms. We work these love birds up early in the morning so the crowds weren’t too bad and it gave John a chance to keep Amanda laughing and giggling without too much to worry about.
Amanda and John we had an absolute blast getting to know the two of you and hearing the incredible stories about your relationship, wedding plans and life after marriage.
