They giggled, made silly faces, skipped down the busy streets of Georgetown and they smiled. They smiled big as they gazed into each other’s eyes lovingly knowing that they had found the love of their lives. Rupa and Rakesh were introduced by family. While they were hesitant about the idea of being setup by family, all the tension and uneasiness quickly melted away upon their initial meeting. It started with a quick email exchange and lead to hour long phone calls and now they’re excitedly planning their wedding!
Rupa and Rakesh’s beautiful D.C. engagement session took place at the Jefferson Memorial and in Georgetown. We woke our couple up at the crack of dawn, literally meeting at the Jefferson at 6am! It was totally worth it as we had the monument to ourselves. As the sun was coming up we snapped away as Rupa and Rakesh shared stories.
After a quick clothing change we met up in Georgetown. Lucky for us it was still early and we were able to take advantage of the peacefulness. Rupa was an absolute trooper as she marched down the brick Georgetown streets. She looked gorgeous and despite the cool morning weather she smiled brightly and kept us laughing with her silly jokes.
Rupa and Rakesh it was a pleasure to photograph your engagement session, we cannot wait until your Engagement party!
