Paul was a complete gentleman with southern charm, he was tall, handsome with a loving smile. It was freshman year and Puja had just dislocated her shoulder, she was in pain and dragging a book bag around campus was difficult. One day after class, Paul saw Puja struggling with her books and being the gentleman that he was offered to carry her books home for her. At first she was hesitant, but his calm demeanor and gracious smile made her think she was lucky to have someone offer to do such a kind gesture. As they walked; they talked about class, Virginia Tech, life and as one thing led to another their walks became more frequent; their laughter and time together more constant and love began to bloom. He carried her books; she made him smile.
Puja and Paul’s engagement session took place in Old Town Alexandria a short distance away from where they both live and a location they have spent quite some time at. They’ve walked by the waterfront hand in hand, eaten at the restaurants and simply enjoyed each other’s company. So it was the ideal backdrop to their engagement session.
We started their shoot a little after sunrise with beautiful pictures around the harbor, winded down alleyways and even had the two of them skipping down cobblestone streets. They laughed, smiled and reminisced about their relationship.
