“A biker bar? Are you sure she wanted us to meet them at a biker bar?” Sunny nodded with a devilish grin as I stood there a bit confused. I shrugged my shoulders and walked in and began scoping the place out. It was awesome! This wasn’t just your standard everyday bar, it was a bar with a real motorcycle garage in the back. Engine lifts, tools and stuff with grease on it. The bar served alcohol along with food and blasted country music. An American flag was on the ceiling large enough to cover most dance floors and it was surrounded by colorful posters and pictures. If ever there was a unique location. This. Was. It.
Prathi and Arjun walked in completely decked out from head to toe in Indian clothes and they looked stunning; gorgeous makeup, beautiful hair, stunning jewelry and amazing clothes. As cyclists brought in their bikes for maintenance, or bar hopers came in for a drink; they all stopped, stared and giddily cheered for our beautiful couple. We had fun posing on the motorcycles, in the upstairs loft, in the garage with helmets and all! Our adventure had just begun!
We left the bar and made our way down to the Brooklyn’s famous graffiti walls. In Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York there were beautiful locations all around with bright colorful graffiti. Each wall was more colorful and vibrant than the next, each telling a unique story. We posed, played and skipped down the mean streets of Brooklyn, having a blast along the way. Seriously, an awesome biker bar and gorgeous graffiti walls, what could possibly top that?
After a quick clothing change we took advantage of the skyline and posed for a few images on the Rooftop deck. We then quickly made our way to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, specifically the cherry blossom grove. Prathi and Arjun walked through a romantic shower of blossoms. They stole sweet glances at each other along the way, holding each other tightly and lovingly.
Years ago they had met through mutual friends at a wedding. They exchanged emails and soon began communicating daily and soon became inseparable. Prathi and Arjun, thank you so much for your hospitality in Brooklyn! We absolutely cannot wait until your amazing wedding; hopefully another love story can start there as well!
