Las Vegas Engagement Session

It was one of those moments. You stop and stare. Slowly circling your head back and forth; looking around with a confused deer in the headlights look; with the billboard sized neon flashing sign of confusion above your head. Confused because, you aren’t exactly sure how you got there, where there is, or what the next step is suppose to be. Looking down, trying not to make eye contact with anyone, kicking the dirt with an unsettled easiness. The feeling of trying to blend in while you are the only one in the room naked.

In a sea of over 40 highly qualified, highly experienced veteran wedding photographers one can feel a little small. But that is what I came for, the humbling experience to learn from the best in the world and have fun doing it. After all at the end of the day all you can do is your best, kicking, screaming and shouting as loud as possible. I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for my past mentors, amazing couples and loyal supporters. I’ve come far and learned a great deal along the way and will only strive to learn more, get better and ‘wow’ even more clients.

And so with a sea of veterans touting every award possible, I got my fifteen minutes of fame and shot this couple like they were my couple, no questions asked, I learned from industry leaders, got insights about new techniques, pointed out mistakes while getting the evil eye (people who know Neeva know what it is!!) and just had a blast learning, bonding and shooting.
