It was a hapistance of coincidence that they met each other. Sandeep was with his family obligated to attend a family friends wedding that he really knew nothing about but out of his mom’s request and the pestering of his sister that it will be fun – he solemnly agreed to go and make the best out of it. Unbeknownst to Jassi she was hours away from meeting the man that would sweep her off her feet – literally.
Jassi was attending a cousins wedding, helping out with last minute chores and meeting with family she hadn’t seen in a long time. She was dressed in a beautiful black sari with matching high heels simply enjoying the evening. Sandeep noticed Jassi during the reception and named her “the girl in the black Sari” as he and his sister tried to find ways for Sandeep to “bump” into Jassi and strike up a conversation.
He tried the traditional routes of wowing her on the dance floor with his epic moves, taking care of the old and young trying to pull a heart string or standing next to the bar trying to strike up a conversation. But as the night was dwindling away and the minutes ticked away he simply walked up to her table, sat down beside her and striked up a conversation. through his charm he won her number – forced her to take him to find the finest Maryland crab and well the rest is simply history.
