We usually discourage our couples from conducting their Engagement Sessions around the crowded monuments in D.C., but when you’ve got a proposal story like Tony and Seena’s, you make exceptions.
Tony and Seena’s first date took place at Union Jack’s in Bethesda. Sparks flew instantly as the two talked about everything, from their childhood and families to future dreams and aspirations. Minutes became hours and before they knew it, it was last call on a Thursday night. Seena offered to drive Tony to his apartment but the two were not done talking. It was one of those obsessive feelings, where all you want to do is talk, listen and learn as much about the other person as humanly possible. That feeling where your tummy is filled with butterflies and your heart is filled with warmth and oozes with joy. Tony and Seena decided to walk a few quick blocks to the Lincoln Memorial and continue their conversation. It was here that Tony realized that Seena was the one.
Numerous dates later Tony brought Seena back to the Lincoln Memorial, only this time it was during one of the biggest snowstorms to hit the Nation’s capital. After marching through three feet of snow, Tony got down on one knee and proposed to the woman of his dreams, and the rest is history!
We started Tony and Seena’s Engagement Session off at the National Arboretum where we took stunning photographs of the couple in formal attire. Seena looked beautiful with her sari blowing in the wind! Of course our next stop was the Lincoln Memorial where we were able to capture some intimate images despite the record Cherry Blossom crowds!
Tony and Seena, it was an absolute pleasure meeting you two and photographing your Engagement Session in a location that was so near and dear to your hearts. We hope you enjoy your fabulous photographs and slide show!
