He always took the road less traveled; many times in the middle of the night with Sara’s favorite DC dish in tow on a three hour trek to Philadelphia simply to see her smile. And smile she did in the midst of studying for her boards while crammed in a small dark dimly lit library as her prince charming would come simply to bring her food and a smile. During those late night dates when they had a few hours together before Vishal had to get to drive back to DC for work and Sara had to get back to the books they would smile, look into each other’s eyes and be the rock the other needed – knowing full well that the light at the end of the tunnel would bring them both together – forever.
In the midst of their crazy schedules they always made time to sit by each other’s side and laugh uncontrollably. Sara was a med student studying over 80 hours a week, classes, hospital time and overnight shifts. Vishal was a government consultant by day and one of DC’s hottest DJ’s by night normally sleeping less than three hours a night. Yet in the midst of the craziness they always made the time to see their better half. Sara and Vishal were high school sweethearts – they dated for over eight years, were engaged for one and best friends longer than the other could remember.
On a warm and overcast day in April, Sara and Vishal started a new chapter in their lives as they invited their closest friends to celebrate their love; a weekend full of promises, love and of course music. Their wedding was remarkable in every way possible as friends toasted to their unbreakable bond and love, families wrote songs about their love and performed stunning dances and the night flowed seamlessly to pure perfection.
