He had always noticed her. Noticed her perfect smile, graceful beauty and her amazing bhangra skills. Year after year, competition after competition her dance team always defeated his, but for some reason, losing to her never felt too bad. Prior to a mutual friend making the formal introduction, Prabu and Arya had known of each other for many years. They both danced on competing college level bhangra teams, had many mutual friends and both were interested in the medical field, but they had never actually had a conversation in person.
Until that day. That rainy day in Dupont Circle, at a traditional Italian bistro, Sette. He borrowed an umbrella from his boss, and briskly walked from McPherson Square to Sette, eager to finally converse with the girl he had now exchanged several emails with. The girl he had known of for what felt like forever but was only a few short years.
That first date nearly three years ago has lead us to today, their engagement session!
Arya and Prabu are the kindest couple and the fact that they have PERFECT smiles doesn’t hurt at all! We began Arya and Prabus Rock Creek Park engagement session, taking full advantage of both the crisp autumn weather and the beautiful colored leaves. We played in the leaves and skipped down the cobble stone path, laughing and posing all along the way. We then made our way to Dupont Circle for a more urban look and feel and of course had to stop by Sette!
