Robyn sat in her suite and nonchalantly began getting ready for her wedding. She applied her own makeup and teased her own hair as she reminisced about the first time she and Jorge met. She was instantly drawn to his sense of humor and intoxicating smile. As Robyn got ready, all she could do was smile; smile as she reminisced about her soon to be husband and his prior antics, smile at the thought of sixteen months of planning all coming together but most importantly smile at the thought of being married to the man that can always make her smile.
Jorge was six flights down and getting ready in his own special way. His family and groomsmen were with him, cracking jokes at his expense, reminiscing about his “wooing” ability and helping Jorge get ready for the biggest day of his life. Jorge and his groomsmen sat back and relaxed, laughed and watch the home gardening channel while kicking back a few drinks before heading off to the church to await the start of the wedding.
Robyn’s family and friends assisted Robyn into her dress and smiled gallantly as she put the finishing touches on. Robyn looked radiant and her mother and grandmother smiled from ear to ear as she stood in front of them. After 20 minutes of everyone complimenting the ravishing bride we were able to take a few quick bridal portraits before Robyn was whisked off into the limo for the drive to the church.
Robyn and Jorge’s ceremony was absolutely beautiful; there were tears of joy, little children running around and an all encompassing love that filled the pews. Their ceremony included readings, songs, a full mass and a bead ceremony.
After a touching ceremony we whisked our couple away to Mcrillis Park for some bridal party pictures. Although it was hot, bug filled and extremely humid our wonderful bride and groom made the best of their time together. They held each other, laughed, joked, smiled and simply looked perfect. They finally had a few moments to themselves, being themselves and wrapped in each others arms. Jorge made Robyn smile like he always does; cracking jokes and simply smiling.
As the cocktail hour started, everyone was enjoying the succulent food, wonderful drinks and catching up with family and friends they have not seen in a long time. Robyn and Jorge infused their personalities with the reception adding special touches such as a table of love – showing off their bridal party and what makes them so special, unique table names depicting emotions they feel for each other and information about those whose love has not been forgotten and a tribute to their memory.
Once the reception started, people were amazed at the spectacular food (these two know good food!) and fantastic music. Everyone danced the night away, smoked cigars and simply fell back in love with these two beautiful people.
