Meera and Joe: Iceland Portrait Session

It all started off as a quick innocent phone call to talk about their wedding album and as we began reminiscing about the amazing choreographed dance performances, their friends and family who flew in from all over the world to celebrate and Joe’s face as Meera walked down the aisle.

The nostalgia kicked in and Meera wanted to relive the best part of the wedding day all over again – clearly the portrait session. As we spoke – Meera mentioned that she wanted to do a one year session somewhere unique – it HAD to be different. then over what seemed to be a course of thirty seconds we planned, booked and finalized their portrait session in Iceland.

We started off the morning bright and early with Macallen fifteen year and headed over to Skogafoss before the sun even rose; we did a little sight seeing, some off-roading, a lot of posing and a slight amount of trespassing (but well worth it). From there with a Viking in hand we trekked a little over two miles to S贸lheimasandur to capture once in a lifetime portraits of these two. We navigated through tourists, took frequent breaks but grabbed a lifetime of wall art for Meera and Joe. Next year Thailand 馃檪
