He proposed with style. 12 single stemmed red roses all hand picked, 12 helium balloons with a purpose and a hidden message, hundreds of candles strewn throughout the Georgetown waterfront leaving onlookers in awe, plenty of friends and family helping them celebrate the most romantic and memorable day of their lives all because of one question; “Krupa, Will you Marry me?”
Ronak waited until the holiday season, knowing full well that Krupas family, close friends and highs school friends would be back in town. He wanted their engagement to be something that the two of them individually shared but celebrated with family and friends. So he coordinated with Krupa’s cousins to take her out to Bangkok Joes – the location of their first date on the Georgetown Waterfront. Krupa’s cousins kept poking and prodding about Ronak making Krupa smile with delight.
After dinner he had the maitre d hand her 11 roses and an envelope with a clue with the prize the 12th rose. Perplexed and excited Krupa played the game taking her on a scavenger hunt around the Waterfront with various questions tied to their relationship. As she answered each question of the three questions by popping a balloon a word would appear that together with all the clues revealed a message that read “Look Behind You.” As she turned around from the last location; behind her on one knee was her fiance fighting back tears of joy, with a simple question – to make him forever the happiest man alive. As she said yes, tears of joy streamed across their faces with onlookers clapping and excited. As the tears subsided and the happiness took over, Ronak had one last surprise for Krupa as he took her to Sequoias where friends and family waited to celebrate.
