He’s a California boy at heart. A free spirit, very easy going and incredibly caring. She’s stunning, stylish and intelligent (after all she is from Maryland). They met a few months after Barath moved back to DC for Law School; introduced by mutual friends, but it was not until Barath moved back to the District that their relationship really flourished. They crossed paths almost every other weekend, at first simply saying hi, the having conversations about the weather, DC traffic and anything else Barath could must up talking about. After countless casual conversations and encounters he finally asked Karishma out. Their first date was at the Big Hunt in Dupont circle, after a few dates, most conversations about the weather and more (this time) deliberate encounters these two love birds were off on a beautiful journey.
Karishma and Barath’s fun filled engagement session took place in Dupont Circle in D.C. We started the evening at Dirty Martini with a quick drink. After exchanging wedding planning stories, websites and completely bored the boys we set off for Swann Street, the location of Karishma’s former Dupont home. Karishma filled us in about the history of picturesque street and shared how celebratory the crowds were during President Obama’s inauguration.
They laughed, shared stories and sauntered playfully down the street towards the Big Hunt, the location of Karishma and Barath’s first date! This bar is awesome! Loud music, great drinks and an easy going crowd made snapping pictures here easy and a lot of fun!
After reminiscing about their first date, we headed off to Dupont Circle where we took a few photos prior to the sun setting. Karishma and Barath, your engagement session was so much fun! We look forward to your wedding celebrations!
