She knew he was the one upon noticing that after nights of rotations, hours on end studying, working ridiculous hours and no sleep in what seemed to be weeks she still wanted to see his face and hear his voice before doing anything else. He knew she was the one the moment he realized how many excuses he would make simply to see her and find excuses to spend a few hours with her even with their hectic and robust schedules.
Their friends could see the sparkle in their eyes, the way they spoke about each other, never went a day without each other and seemed to always laugh at each other’s jokes. They were a perfect pair and everyone who spent anytime around them could see that.
Alpa and Anil were married at the Baltimore BWI Hilton Hotel on a beautiful September afternoon. They were introduced by mutual friends while completing their residency in Pennsylvania. Despite their extremely busy schedules they managed to find time to get to know each other. Dates around campus and between shifts sparked their beautiful relationship.
Their wedding consisted of a Catholic ceremony, Hindu ceremony and a beautiful reception. Prior to all that however; they opted to do a first look and as they stole glances at each other. First just quickly looking at one another, making eye contact, and then turning away. The short glances quickly became long, drawn out stares. The longer they looked at each other the larger their smiles grew. It finally hit them; this was the day, their day. The day that would unite them as husband and wife.
Alpa looked absolutely stunning, she glowed like a true bride with a smile on her face that could not be undone. Anil was ecstatic, and who could blame him, he was officially married to the love of his life, he laughed, he joked and he never let go of the sight of his dreams; his new wife.
The Catholic ceremony was absolutely beautiful; an intimate affair that consisted of select readings, ring exchanges and vows. The Hindu ceremony was stunning with Vedic readings, spiritual vows and games. Including Alpa stuffing large dry Ladoo’s in Anils mouth as she laughed and watched him try to swallow the big pieces.
As the evening progresses close family and friends stayed for a stunning reception. As the gorgeous affair started the love in the room for these two was evident. Their family and friends gave beautiful speeches, there were fantastic dances from family and friends and even a surprise Bentley send off. It was the perfect day for the perfect couple.
Alpa and Anil thank you for allowing us to share in your wonderful day; we had an absolute blast and hope you are finally finding time to simply relax.
