Their lives took them all over the world and always in circles, with medical school, work, friends and life there was nothing constant in their hectic worlds but each other. For close to the last decade they have been each others anchors, cheering each other on during times of triumph and always holding each other tight. They were always seen together holding hands, smiling and in love. A love that finally led to their wedding weekend filled with tradition, unique elements and totally undeniably and perfectly them.
Hetal had been planning her wedding for as long as she could remember, always wanting a wedding filled with tradition, love and unique elements that encapsulated her personality. During the wedding elements of her personality emerged like the individually created dandia sticks from the garba that matched her families clothes perfectly or the lucky bamboo on every reception table bringing good luck and prosperity to all of her family and friends; unique touches of her personality to make the wedding all her own. Reflected in her personality, always having fun, caring for others and nothing but smiles.
The weekend kicked off with close family and friends surrounding the beautiful couple during morning ceremonies of separate tilaks; a religious ceremony that brings spiritual luck and longevity to the beautiful couple as well as gifts for the bride.
The evening brought family and friends together for a night of dancing, laughing and simply an all around good time. Friends and family danced, sang and gave speeches followed by raas, an impromptu dance set, garba and pure exhaustion. It seemed as if everyone was dancing, laughing, smiling and simply having an amazing time.
The rest of the wedding weekend will be posted soon 🙂
