Josh was nervous on the drive up to Penn State; his alma mater – the place where it all began – the place where he met his future wife. He randomly bumped into Reshma on campus and was instantly transfixed by her sparkling personality which always kept him laughing, her beauty both inside and out and simply the way she loved life and always had him by her side to experience it. He found every excuse to be by her side and was thankful they lived so close on campus; he would always see if she wanted to join him for dinner, watch a movie or go sight seeing they quickly became good friends.
They met at Penn State and starting dating at Penn State – Freshman year with a dozen roses and baked cookies he asked her to be his valentine a title Reshma never gave back. He was charming, loving, kind hearted and always looked out for other peoples happiness before his own. Like Reshma; family was the most important thing to Josh and over the four years they dated he invited Reshma to meet almost all of his family.
On valentine’s day Josh tricked Reshma into thinking that one of his aunts invited them to dinner – for the special occasion Reshma even cooked dessert. On their drive up – Josh detoured to Penn State. Even in the frigid cold Reshma was still energetic as she took him on a tour of Penn State, wide eyed and smiling as they reminisced about their classrooms, places to eat, and the places they hung out.
As they neared their freshman dorm, Josh got down on one knee – told Reshma how much he loves her and asked her to be his wife. Through tears of happiness she said yes and they started the next chapter in their love.
Reshma and Josh were married at the Harrisburg Radisson in early September with a beautiful dual ceremony both traditions and religions were honored with a Beautiful Hindu ceremony followed by an emotional Jewish ceremony to follow. Their reception was stunning with emotional speeches, stunning dance performances and a DJ that kept everyone dancing.
