Every year at the beginning of spring the Cherry Blossoms are in full bloom. These pink delicate flowers attract tourists to D.C. from near and far. I have to admit, though I’ve lived in the D.C. metro area nearly my entire life, viewing the blossoms is something I will never get tired of. In some parts of the city’s surrounding areas the cherry trees have grown so large that when you glace up while standing under a tree all you see is pink. It’s a breath taking site.
On a windy day like today the fully bloomed blossoms start to flail in the wind, the tiny petals come loose and separate from the stem. It literally looks like its raining cherry blossoms! Imagine thousands of petals flowing in the wind, it is spectacular! Now imagine the breath taking cherry blossoms paired with a beautiful engagement session! Check out a quick engagement party image from this past weekend and make sure you take time out of your busy schedules to add the D.C. Cherry Blossoms to your list of must sees!
