Bethany and Brian are one of our most adventurous couples! We met this awesome couple a few months ago and quickly began planning their Engagement Session! Let, me rephrase, once they walked into our studio, before we could show/talk/say a word, Bethany and I were talking about their engagement shoot locations, what types of shots she wanted, and when. They were great, we planned their engagement shoot before we even spoke about packages, their wedding or anything else. Between talking about their engagement shoot, the Jersey Shore and house shopping we laughed more than we had in a long time. So we knew when it came time for their engagement shoot we would have a blast!
Bethany and Brian met while attending school at Salisbury University in southern Maryland, a few dates and happy hours later they were inseparable and are now in the midst of planning their October wedding!
We began their engagement session on a cool spring morning in Ocean City, Maryland. By cool, we mean chilly! The temperature was a brisk 58 degrees and the water was freezing! Yet our awesome couple were true troopers-dancing on the beach, playing with the sand but intelligently staying away from the cold ocean-all during the wee hours of the morning (yes, we got our couple out on the Ocean City Beach at 7AM).
After some playful beach shots we made our way over to boardwalk, while the OC boardwalk may not be as popular as the Jersey Shore (insert fist pump), we were able to find some really fun arcades and reminisce childhood memories. We had a great time at OC despite a brief rain shower and then quickly headed to the location where Bethany and Brian met, Salisbury University.
If you’ve never visited Salisbury University, we highly recommend touring the grounds. It’s a very quaint school located on the Eastern Shore. A school where everyone seems to know one another and everyone has strong school pride. Go Gulls!! We captured some romantic images of Brian and Bethany around campus and meaningful locations. We were even lucky enough to snag a picture with Sammy the Seagull, the school mascot! We heard stories of their years at Salsbury and the fun times they had there.
Bethany and Brian, we had so much fun photographing your engagement and we absolutely cannot wait until your fabulous wedding (fist pumps and all)!
