At the beginning of my wedding planning, I was completely scattered. I was searching the web daily for inspiration and finding countless ideas, but had no way to organize my thoughts or remember all of the ideas I had seen. I was randomly copying and pasting pictures off various websites to Word documents, with no version control. With Pinterest, life is a lot different. You can create a wedding board and began “pinning” ideas from other sites to it. Seeing all of your ideas on one screen side-by-side is extremely useful. You will be able to review and evaluate your wedding board and delete items you no longer like because you may have pinned something better. When your planner or decorator asks for your ideas on décor or floral bouquets, you will be able to send her your pins for quick reference. It’s quick and easy to update!
The other beautiful thing about Pinterest is the ability to follow the pins of others. Much like Twitter, you can follow your friends to see what they are pinning and can even repin their ideas. If you don’t find your own friends all that inspirational, you can search by category to see what random strangers have pinned.
