Puja and Pauls Beautiful Virginia wedding was published on Maharani weddings yesterday and we couldn’t be happier!
Maria Thacker from Maria Thacker Events had this to say about the wedding:
“Puja and Paul envisioned a chic fall wedding filled with rich hues and Indian inspired décor which highlighted the couple’s love of nature and the bride’s culture. Over 400 guests came together at the Westfields Marriott in Chantilly, Virginia to witness the memorable occasion which united Eastern and Western traditions. By working closely with their vendors, Puja and Paul created a fall themed Indian wedding day that had a natural feel while still being elegant and intriguing throughout the décor. The occasion included a variety of floral vases from mason jars to modern cylinders; a diamond shaped dance floor; and a floor plan which featured table clusters tied together with paper lanterns hanging at the center of each cluster.
Puja and Paul’s love for each other, and their family and friend’s happiness for them emanated throughout the day in smiles and tears of joy; heartfelt speeches; and a surprise Bollywood dance from the bridesmaids. They even toasted with the same cups which the groom’s parents used at their wedding.
Puja and Paul share a love for the environment and a compassion for others which is evident in their day-to-day life and their wedding. The guest’s welcome bags were from Muskaan, a non-profit in Delhi, India which provides support services, vocational training and much more to the intellectually challenged. The institute raises money by selling handmade items. To avoid unnecessary waste, the eco-friendly couple even took home their flowers to compost at the end of the reception!”
