It was the little things that Yesha loved about Vik; his outgoing personality, love for others to a fault and his ability to carry on a four hour conversation about ice cream were amazing. But it was the little things he did – the thought, the care and the love he put into it – that won her heart.
Their engagement would be no different; he had her best friends, childhood friends and family fly in from all over the country to be with Yesha to celebrate the night away after he proposed. He had mani-pedi’s ordered, bottles of champagne brought to Yesha room in the morning and thoughtful surprise after thoughtful surprise that made her cry well before he even got down on one knee.
Yesha was the world to Vik, they met in college and dated for what seemed like forever. He fell in love with her quick wit, love for others and her smile that radiated outward with the ability to make everyone she contacted happier. When she moved to Philadelphia to get her doctorate the pain of not seeing his best friend every day made him realize that she was the one he wanted to spend the rest of his life with.
So on a cold winters evening he hired a limo to bring Yesha to the DC War Memorial where with candles lit, champagne poured and dressed in his Sunday best; Vik got down on one knee and Yesha made him the happiest man alive.
A few short months later; Yesha and Vik’s DC Arboretum Engagement Session took place along the beautiful roman columns and flower beds and then in the heart of Philadelphia. It was an absolute pleasure capturing your amazing engagement session and we can’t wait until the wedding.
