Twenty three groomsmen, a dozen bottles of ace of spades and gold label, fourteen bridesmaids and a wedding that didn’t stop. Mishal and Suraj’s wedding was the iconic wedding party, friends and family traveling from all over the world simply to celebrate the love that two people share. Mishal and Suraj did everything in their power to ensure their guests had a wonderful time and infused their own personalities into their wedding from a new york themed cocktail hour, to bottle of gold label given to the groomsmen to speeches that not only exemplified their love for each other but also their love for their family and friends.
Mishal and Suraj’s two day wedding started with a beautiful Garba/Sangeet on Friday night where the bridal party and family performed dances, gave speeches and even performed skits. From there family and friends danced the night away with traditional garba music followed by Raas and then an open dance floor. On Saturday the wedding kicked off with a lively baraat that closed down the main roads in Arlington, VA as onlookers stopped their cars and themselves in their tracks simply to see what was going on. After the baarat; a traditional Hindu wedding followed suit where the couple professed their love for each other and their respective families. After the ceremony there was a catered lunch followed by a cocktail hour and wedding that included heartfelt speeches, amazing choreographed dances, family and friends from all over the world and a party that went on until the early morning hours.
Mishala nd Suraj it was an absolute pleasure capturing your wedding and we hope you cherish the photographs and films as much as we do; we can’t wait to see the two of you soon enough. Thank you for making us a part of your wonderful day.
