He is a Raven’s fan, regardless of growing up in New Zealand, living in London, not watching a single football game before meeting his future wife and never setting foot into Ravens Stadium before his wedding. He loves Tiffany’s Jewelry not because he’s ever worn it, bought into the hype, or loves their little blue boxes. He is in love and simply will do anything and everything to make Maya happy. It’s the little things that they do for each other, the way they hold hands, look into each other’s eyes and make each other laugh that you know instinctively they were meant to be.
Cam met Maya when she came to London on a work rotation, it was Cam’s job to take care of her and make sure that she adjusted well while on her rotation. A job Cam has still not given up (talk about a dedicated employee)! The moment they met they hit it off, laughing, talking and simply enjoying each others company. While in London for that short period of time they were inseparable, going everywhere together, seeing everything and learning each others culture. Primarily about Raven’s football and Haka Rugby.
After Maya’s rotation was over and she moved back to New York was when Cam knew he couldn’t live without her and in true sleepless in Seattle combined with Pretty Woman fashion he flew to New York, trumped down to 5th ave, found the closest Tiffany’s store bought a ring and proposed.
Maya and Cam’s wedding took place at the Hunt Valley Golf Club, minutes from Maya’s home, a golf club right down the street from where Maya grew up and a location where Maya use to work. The grounds were gorgeous is the October cold were turning the leaves the perfect shade of fall. The cool fall breeze was refreshing and added a beautiful dimension to their images.
The Baarat occurred in true golf club style with the groom ushered in on a golf cart to his beautiful bride, after the wedding we were able to tour parts of the golf course to get beautiful pictures of our bride and groom, they were even able to hit a few balls around while waiting for family!
The reception took place in downtown Baltimore right outside the Baltimore Harbor at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Hotel. Once again the photography gods were kind to us as we were able to head out to the harbor for some beautiful sunset photographs of our couple. After which our bride and groom were able to dance the night away at their beautiful reception with heartfelt speeches, wonderful food and friends from all walks of life.
