They met over witty one liners, 90’s music references and a healthy dose of sarcasm. Juhi and Mrunal met in medical school after successful careers in other realms; so being a tad older than the incoming class they both had their guards up – ‘against them youngins’.
After a few run-ins they realized that they both lived in the same area of Brooklyn, schedules that coincided and with Mrunal having a car in New York their witty one liners soon turned into genuine conversation on their way to and from the hospital. An infatuation grew as they made excuses to see each other outside of their commute from studying together, grabbing food after work and simply hanging out. Their conversations turned into flirting and they soon realized that they were so alike in so many ways – over time and gourmet hospital food their friendship turned to love.
We had the opportunity to capture Juhi and Mrunal’s engagement session in New York City; we started the session in Brooklyn under the Manhattan Bridge and then headed over to Time Square and Chelsea to end the session. Juhi and Mrunal – we can’t wait for your wedding in Washington DC in less than a week!
