| What type of photography do you do?The wedding kind. More specifically our style is a mix of photojournalism and fashionably posed. Essentially that means that most of the day we will be very hands off and unobtrusive, after all we doubt the priest would like us interrupting his ceremony to adjust the lighting at the altar. However there is a time and a place for everything and we love to casually pose our couples in a variety of ways to show off strengths, creating gorgeous imagery. Additionally, we love to photograph the details from your special day, the shoes, the bouquet, the tables and everything that makes your day unique. What if we are shy, tense or nervous?
Glad you asked, that is why we require (yes require) all couples to do an engagement session, the session helps our couples relax in front of the camera, learn some great posing techniques, hang out with us and get over their uneasiness. Our engagement sessions are free with all of our packages. Additionally we require (yes require) at least an hour with the couple and their wedding party on their wedding day. This allows us to naturally capture the emotions of the day as well as casually pose the couple and bridal parties ensuring great pictures. Can we give you a shot list of photographs we want you to take? Of course, we will work with you prior to the wedding to develop a list of posed family photos, ideal locations, unique events you want us to capture and a timeline of your wedding day’s events. Please understand that each combination takes time to coordinate, pose and photograph. We try to keep the lists between 10-15 combinations. Although we will try our best to capture every moment we are not responsible for any combinations not shot. At times family members run late or may need to attend to other matters on your big day, causing them to miss the allotted time for posed photos. |

Once the album design is approved and signed off, it normally take three weeks to a month before the album is delivered. What will my album look like? Amazing, after all the images are of you! There are two types of albums a traditional style album where all the images are on separate mats and a more modern album. An on-line gallery is a private password protected portion of our webpage where all your imagery will be hosted for friends and family to admire. If friends and family love the imagery they will have an opportunity to purchase thepictures directly off the site without you needing to do anything. Are there any hidden costs? No. Once you decide on coverage and album, that’s it. If you decide you want to buy additional products after the wedding that is entirely at your discretion. |

| business and details:Do you have insurance? Yes.What kind of equipment do you use? Top of the line professional Nikon digital cameras, lenses and equipment with extensive backups. How many Weddings do you shoot? we limit ourselves to 20-25 weddings a year. This allows me plenty of time to interact with clients, create a personalized wedding photography plan and ensure the highest level of personal creativity. What is your payment schedule like? I have to cancel my wedding. Can I have my retainer back? If we decide to commission Photographick for our wedding, when should we book?
If we run overtime, will you stay? Surely. Photographick has an overtime rate that goes into effect only with your permission and approval. Occasionally discounts are available but are based on time of year, travel schedule, and availability. If you have concerns about your budgetary needs, please contact the studio and let us know, we will try to accommodate your needs. Do we need to feed you at the reception? Yes, it doesn’t have to be the same as your sit-down meal (many caterers offer “vendor meals” as an add-on option) but feeding Sunny ensures he stays cheerful, mobile, and doesn’t faint from starvation. We prefer to be fed when YOU are fed, not afterwards, because when you are eating you’re not at your most photogenic stage- and when you’re done, we want to be done as well to continue your coverage. Can our family and friends take pictures with their cameras? Will that bother you? Of course they can and it doesn’t bother Sunny in the least bit! He does request they not swarm the family photographs right away because he would prefer all eyes facing his camera first, but he doesn’t mind at all if they snap away from the background. But if you think it will be too much of a distraction you can always direct family and friends to the online gallery where they can view all the images from your wonderful day. Sunny does not allow family or friends to come along for the bridal images, the bridal party images or the images of you two alone for privacy purposes and because, frankly, other people can be distracting! |
