They have the type of love where inside jokes are embedded into every conversation and their primary method of communication is staring into each other’s eyes. They have the kind of love that ebbs and flows where the other knows exactly what to say or do to ensure a smile stays concreted on the others face. Their love has been growing at an exponential clip and thankfully will never slow down.

Before the ceremony even began; Puja and Pragnesh wanted to immortalize their love with friends and family by having their entire bridal party and family meet them at their hotel to open a celebratory bottle of champagne where they simply toasted the future. Their stare downs, inside jokes and love surrounded by family and friends was all they needed to start the wedding off perfectly.

Their ceremony took place at the Washington Hebrew Congregation Center and was filled with references to future offspring, Puja receiving expensive purses and credit cards with no limits (there were smiles on all the women’s faces in the audience). The Pundit made the ceremony a light hearted family centric ceremony that had everyone smiling, laughing and remembering what love is all about. A perfect gesture to their love.

The reception was absolutely stunning with beautiful décor provided by Partyland Flowers and Event Décor. Friends and family gave speeches, performed dances and danced the night away celebrating the love and laugher of these two beautiful people.

Puja and Pragnesh Engagement Session at the National Harbor

Puja and Pragnesh met under the oddest of circumstances and when neither of them were even looking for love. They met at a typical Washington DC location they had both been multiple times, dancing to probably the same songs and sipping on the same drinks. It took an odd set of circumstances and a very good friend to set their story in motion.

Puja was out with her friends in Washington DC; where they were all wearing high heals and a short skirts ready to paint the town red as she celebrated the Bachelorette party of one of her close girlfriends. The evening ended at one of the local DC clubs where a friend of a friend called Pragnesh to set up a table for the girls at the club. He had no intention of going that night but seeing as he helped secure a table for a bachelorette party of twelve girls he was intrigued and force to go by one of his good friends.

Before Pragnesh was even able to find the Bachelorette party; his eye caught the smile of Puja and he approached her hoping for a second look. Puja and Pragnesh hit it off instantaneously as they made fun of each other; laughing and joking. They danced off beat to old songs, sipped champagne and simply had an amazing time together. As the night was ending Pragnesh got Puja’s number and promised to call; a promise he kept and two years later we are less than a week away from their amazing wedding.
