The sun broke through the grey clouds and stroked the white panes of the large plantation style house in Brookville, Maryland. Mother Nature had a made her dramatic arrival, bringing in torrential downpours, blistering winds and knocking out power to millions. None of this affected our stunning bride, Nalini. Her and her soon to be husband, Neil, had spent time working in Florida and became well aware of the wrath that hurricanes can bring. I still remember calling her the morning of her wedding, asking if her house, where she and her family were getting ready, survived the storm. Not only had her neighborhood been spared from down trees and floods, but her house was also one of the few that had power! Her fiancé was driving down the day of the wedding from New York and although our beautiful bride was nervous hoping he wouldn’t hit traffic, down power lines or issues with 70% of the lights in Montgomery County down she simply smiled and enjoyed the time she had with family getting ready.

Neil and his guests made it down with no issues; the bus was humming with drum players and family and friends laughing, joking and excited for the beautiful wedding they came down to witness.

Nalini and Neil’s ceremony took place at the Hindu Temple of Metropolitan Washington. As always, she looked nothing short of gorgeous. Dressed in a traditional red lengha and dripping in elegant gold jewellery, Neil and Nalini walked around the auspicious fire seven times and were officially married! They laughed and smiled as they greeted their guests and celebrated their first moments as man and wife.

As a little girl, Nalini had always dreamed of wearing a white dress on her wedding day. She was able to make this dream a reality for her reception!  Neil glowed with joy as he saw her for the first time. They both looked amazing, truly the perfect pair. As their reception continued, heartfelt speeches were shared, the couple sang and danced their way through their first dace and an awesome live band brought the entire ballroom to their feet as they all danced the night away to a live drum player.

Nalini and Neil are two of the sweetest, kindest, and genuine people one could ever meet, and these two beautiful souls are united as one and married. Nalini and Neil, it was an absolute pleasure photographing your magical day, we had an absolute blast! We wish you both an infinite amount of love and happiness and look forward to watching your love grow over the years.

To him it was the best decision he had ever made as he instantaneously fell into hour long conversations with a beautiful girl who he simply adored. She was calm, cool, collected, funny, beautiful and simply perfect in his eyes. Their casual dinners became day long dates and weekend trips as their love and infatuation with each other grew.

Fast forward two plus years and their wedding was filled with family and friends excited to see Sonal and Roshan finally get married. The morning of the wedding was festive; as bridesmaids, parents and cousins all assisted Sonal get ready. She was smiling from ear to ear and excited to wear a traditional Sari for the wedding; complete with traditional jewelry, nose ring and a gold belt. Roshan was eight flights down relaxing in the lobby with family and friends ready to see his beautiful fiancé and for the Baarat to start.

The Baarat stopped Baltimore Traffic as Roshans family took to the streets for a lively Baarat; filled with family dancing, friends picking up and carrying Roshan and a dhol player who kept the party going. Once they made it to the entrance of the wedding; Sonals family and friends joined in the festivities as they escorted Roshan to the Mandap.

The wedding was simply gorgeous as Sonal and Roshans eyes lit up at every turn; truly understanding that within moments they would finally be married. Their hands gleefully brushed up against each other as they simply smiled and enjoyed the journey to become husband and wife.

Once the ceremony ended; Sonal and Roshan went upstairs to change to get ready for the reception. Sonal has been dreaming about her beautiful white wedding dress since she was 4 years old; visions of a beautiful  cathedral length veil draped on a gorgeous white dress with accents of color all around. As she grew older; the visions became stronger and she simply wanted to don a Gorgeous White Dress on her wedding day. Her wish was granted and she simply looked ravishing. Roshan lost his breath and was completely chocked up the first time he saw her.

Their first look took place right outside of the Baltimore Harbor as our fantastic couple spent some time right on the water to get some beautiful sunset pictures. After a quick detour we headed back to the reception hall for a reception that kept everyone’s jaws on the floor. The fantastic décor, amazing music and scrumptious food kept everyone dancing all night long.

Their friends could see the sparkle in their eyes, the way they spoke about each other, never went a day without each other and seemed to always laugh at each other’s jokes. They were a perfect pair and everyone who spent anytime around them could see that.

Alpa and Anil were married at the Baltimore BWI Hilton Hotel on a beautiful September afternoon. They were introduced by mutual friends while completing their residency in Pennsylvania. Despite their extremely busy schedules they managed to find time to get to know each other. Dates around campus and between shifts sparked their beautiful relationship.

Their wedding consisted of a Catholic ceremony, Hindu ceremony and a beautiful reception. Prior to all that however; they opted to do a first look and as they stole glances at each other. First just quickly looking at one another, making eye contact, and then turning away. The short glances quickly became long, drawn out stares. The longer they looked at each other the larger their smiles grew. It finally hit them; this was the day, their day. The day that would unite them as husband and wife.

Alpa looked absolutely stunning, she glowed like a true bride with a smile on her face that could not be undone. Anil was ecstatic, and who could blame him, he was officially married to the love of his life, he laughed, he joked and he never let go of the sight of his dreams; his new wife.

The Catholic ceremony was absolutely beautiful; an intimate affair that consisted of select readings, ring exchanges and vows. The Hindu ceremony was stunning with Vedic readings, spiritual vows and games. Including Alpa stuffing large dry Ladoo’s in Anils mouth as she laughed and watched him try to swallow the big pieces.

As the evening progresses close family and friends stayed for a stunning reception. As the gorgeous affair started the love in the room for these two was evident. Their family and friends gave beautiful speeches, there were fantastic dances from family and friends and even a surprise Bentley send off. It was the perfect day for the perfect couple.

Alpa and Anil thank you for allowing us to share in your wonderful day; we had an absolute blast and hope you are finally finding time to simply relax.

Our couples first dance opened up for all couples; Alpa’s mother and brother shared a wonderful moment in the right hand picture.

Mike was three floors above his beautiful bride to be doing the exact same thing, laughing and joking with his groomsmen, drinking beers and smiling from ear to ear. Jitters or butterfly’s never hit the stomachs of these two, as they knew they were meant to be.

As the church pews filled with friends and family Mike recounted their wonderful relationship, from proposing aboard a cruise ship after winning “the perfect couple” game show, to countless Eagles games, decorating their own place and trips across the country. The smile on his face only grew bigger and Sarah walked down the aisle ready to become his wife. Sarah and Mike were married in the St. Mary’s of Barnesville Church; a wonderful ceremony with customized handkerchiefs made by Sarah just in case people begin to cry.

After the ceremony these two partied the night away at the P.B. Dye Golf club with a beautiful candy table, Rita’s Italian Ice, cigars, great food and great music.
