Every Monday after a long weekend I would ask Mark the same question, “Did you ask her? Are you engaged?!” His response on every one of these Mondays remained the same, “Not yet!” Months went by, we went our on ways and I stopped asking. So when I heard that Mark finally asked his gorgeous girlfriend Nicole to marry him I was overcome with joy and excitement!
Lucky for us Mark and Nicole were on the hunt for a photographer! We jumped to the occasion and kicked off their Engagement Session in historic Old Town Alexandria. The weather was absolutely perfect for late November. It was a beautiful day- there not a cloud in the sky and the best part was that we didn’t even need our coats!
This gorgeous couple was one the of easiest we’ve ever had the pleasure to work with! They complied with all our crazy requests from skipping down a busy street to rolling in the grass. They giggled, kissed and gazed into each others eyes. Their love was addicting and a blast to capture on film. Of course we asked Nicole how she met Mark. After visiting a psychic who predicted that Nicole would meet a man from the same city she grew up in, she was a bit wary. Low and behold, she met Mark soon after! While they grew up in the same small town, they never knew each other growing up. They quickly bonded, fell in love and the rest is history! I must say, we have a new found respect for psychics!
Mark and Nicole, we had an absolute blast with you two! We cannot wait to share all your images with you!!
